The well-equipped laboratories fulfill all the curricular requirements. Crowning the laboratories in the Mechanical department is the CAD / CAM lab with 60 Workstations having advanced CAD/ CAM/ CAE software and CNC trainer-milling and lathe machines. The dedicated , zealous and dexterous teams of staff members guide the students and help them to develop innovative projects. The staff are also members in various professional bodies like the ISTE , MIE, and SAE.

“META” the department association conducts interdepartmental paper presentations and seminars for students to create an awareness of the emerging technologies. Interdepartmental quiz competitions are frequently conducted to improve the IQ of the students. Every semester, students are encouraged to go on industrial visits and at least one in –plant training per year is arranged to be update with the current innovations.
